Language Lol #1

Yes this has the more you know header but this is more specifically a Language lol.

So as you may not know I am a massive fan of saying things in different languages. So this is not exactly a lol but with the misuse of the word ll anyway I thought hey how ( plus it is alliteration ).

As it is the first post I am going to start you off with my favourite word in another language; it is

Poco

Meaning ' a little' in spanish.

 for example.
I would like un poco cheese please - I would like a little cheese please.

For me it is just the cuteness of the word and I think it is pretty awesome.

So if ever in a situation you can say
Me gustan ventanas un poco
(I like windows a little)
(less weird than I like windows and more spanish)

See you next wednesday
(language lols on wednesdays)

Me gusta #2

Hey whats up you guys?! It's Lena, you know, the one that never reads according to Heather.

So as my first post on here, I decided to write about something I come into contact with everyday, and that is *DRUMROLL*

VIDEO GAMES (caps lock intended).
So I'm going to do a top five of my favourite games which I enjoyed the most in 2013.

Game 1: Fable 2.

So I've been a hardcore (parkour) Fable fan for at least 3 years now and Fable 2 was the first Fable game I ever played, but it made a big comeback this year especially when the cold nights began. It's a fantasy RPG game about a girl/boy that has ancestors which were Heroes back in the day and has to save Albion (England) from this King of Bowerstone or something like that, named Lucien. It's quite short if you just concentrate on the main storyline which is a shame really. I give it 4 stars out of 5. ^.^

Game 2: Bioshock Infinite

I might be very un-hipster like by going with this game as it has been given 9.4/10 on IGN and has sold over 4 million copies, but I really have to admit the game is freaking amazing. It's mostly a first person shooter but it is also a story-driven game about a man called Booker DeWitt who has to pay off his debt by capturing a woman named Elizabeth. Now it's impossible to spoil anything in  this game because the ending is just mind bending, and if you've seen the end then you should know what I mean. I didn't get to play all of it, because my scum bag sister didn't want to replay it from the beginning because apparently 4 hours of gameplay is "loads". But what I saw was still impressive so 4/5 stars. ^.^

Game 3: Grand Theft Auto 5

Haha, just kidding. The game is Minecraft.
Okay stop judging me. It's not a good game, but this post is about games I enjoyed in 2013, not games that other people enjoyed. It's a good game to pass the time and actually gets your creativity going. We all know it's a sandbox game but I have to make sure I put that in. However it's quite limited, you can expand it with mods but I'm one of those people that would rather have that in  the base of the game. So therefore I give it 3/5 stars. ^.^

Game 4: Rayman Legends

As a kid I used to love this game due to how stupid it was (a limbless guy, you know the basic children's humour) and I was happy when my sister got a WiiU for Christmas because that meant we could play Rayman Legends. I forgot what the gameplay was like in Rayman games so I was amused by it all, especially the cartoon graphics which were very pleasing. So far I had only played it for around 3 hours but so far it is one of the best games I had played this year. So I'm giving it 4.5/5 stars. ^.^
Shoot I nearly forgot, it's a platform game.

Game 5: The Last of Us

Come on, we all knew that was coming. And we all can agree this game was fantastic to watch, fun to play and had a satisfying ending which left you with a question. I can't say this is the best game I played this year but it is one of those games you wish you couldn't remember so you could play it again. It's a third person shooter and kind of a story driven game so you could get to know the characters and see some action too. I am quite confident with giving it 4/5 stars. ^.^

So that' it, I just handed you hours upon hours of my gaming experience from 2013 which you read in about 5 minutes and I hope you enjoyed. Happy New Year!

Me Gusta #1 Heather

Hi guys and welcome to my first Me Gusta. HAPPY NEW YEAR and CHRISTMAS ( even though it is over :( ).
If you did not know Me Gusta is a weekly thing that me and lena will do where we explain our favourite thing of the week. Lets get going :)

So as it was recently christmas I had to choose one of my christmas presents. For christmas I got a 3ds xl and I have spent pretty much 75% of the holidays on it, more specifically animal crossing new leaf.

Animal crossing new leaf

So at the age of about 7 I was super addicted to the first in this game series. Then the second at the age of 9 and guess what. Now the third not quite sequel but just as awesome game has come out I am addicted. The series follows the same sort of story where you are a human in an animal world making friends and selling things to upgrade your house. However in this game you become mayor of your own town where you can build things and do other cool mayor stuff. As well as that there are many new locations such as summer islands to explore and play games and shops. It is a really relaxing , fun and addictive game which I strongly recommend. Unfortunately it is only available for the 3ds ( hence why I got it ) but it is so worth it.
